Jacqueline van Gent, University of Western Australia, will introduce the seminar with a brief overview of current international networks, institutions and publishing opportunities in the field of historical emotion research
Giulia Morosini, PhD Candidate, University of Padua, Verona and Venice will present the main subjects of her Ph.D. project, which focuses on the emotions and culture of the Italian Renaissance military captains. Then, one particular aspect will be addressed in depth, namely the use and meaning of emotional gestures within the military community.
