AI is a potentially very powerful technology that can play a major role in humanistic research. But this assumes that we understand what the technology is and its limitations. This lecture will crack a number of myths about AI but at the same time highlight its role for us researchers.

Karim Jebari is a philosopher and researcher at the Institute for Future Studies. He researches applied ethics and, in particular, how we should relate to the challenges and opportunities that technological development presents us.
