This workshop will demonstrate how to collect, clean, and use open online data for spatial analysis. While the primary focus will be on datasets available for Sweden, we will also explore international data repositories to broaden the scope.
The main tool used during the workshop will be the open-source GIS software QGIS, though alternative software options will also be discussed. The session is designed as a hands-on showcase, guiding participants through the full workflow—from data collection to visualization of results—using openly accessible digital resources.
