Writing a multidisciplinary project proposal is not the same as a standard single-applicant proposal. IceLab's director Martin and coordinator Gabrielle are hoping, with this hackathon, to be able to offer support for those researchers with less experience in submitting proposals for these types of calls, by for example helping to highlight novelty in the collaboration and research direction of a project.
Meet principal investigators and postdoctoral fellows that have been funded in past funding rounds and talk with them over lunch (included). We provide the whole space in Galaxen to work together with your team and to become ready to submit your proposals.
Agenda: 9-10 Introduction by Martin Rosvall, including examples of successful past proposals and tips for proposal writing 10-12 Open time for groups to work on their proposals. Separate rooms are available. Martin Rosvall and Gabrielle Beans will be available for feedback. 11-12 Meeting of the current IceLab Multidisciplinary Postdocs and their PIs 12-13 Joint lunch for proposal writing teams and current IceLab postdoc teams. 13-15 Open time for groups to work on their proposals (as before)
Register so we can better prepare to help you and to order the correct amount for lunch!
