We cordially invite you to attend the KBC DAYS, an annual interdisciplinary conference, with presentations from different departments and research centres affiliated with KBC as well as from research infrastructures at Umeå University and SLU. This year, the KBC DAYS will be back to a physical format after two years of digital events and will be held on November 8th-9th at KBC.
A scientific focus this year will be on "BIG DATA". We welcome you to listen to the plenary lectures and other presentations discussing different aspects, advantages and challenges of analysing, interpreting and handling big data.
There will also be many inspiring presentations from KBC, including talks by new faculty members, awardees and researchers that received large grants this year, PhD students and young researchers from the Umeå Postdoc society (UPS)!
This year, two special events will be dedicated to celebrating the 15th anniversary of KBC! Join for the panel discussion with those who contributed to the establishment and development of KBC to reminisce about how it all started, highlight what has been achieved, and discuss future visions for research and collaboration at KBC! The celebration dinner will be held on the evening of November 8th.
