During our workshop you’ll learn how to create a digital prototype that makes your idea concept easier to visualize and communicate with others. Together, we’ll guide you through uilding your first digital prototype using AI (easier than you think!).
If you are interested in possibly joining forces with someone else, this workshop is a great opportunity to meet new innovators and gain an understanding of what it means to run and work in a startup.
You’ll get:
An understanding of prototyping basics – how to create representations of your idea that make it easier to explore and share with others.
Hands-on experience – with our support on site, you’ll build your own prototype.
Actionable next steps – leave with concrete ways to keep developing and testing your concept. If you want to create a physical product after the session, we’ll make sure you get access to the Curiosum Makerspace and the support you need.
You will also receive a crash course in lean startup and design thinking, approaches we use that will help you in your ongoing idea development.
Set up
KICKSTART begins with a 45-minute presentation from us followed by individual work, based on the session's theme. During this time, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your ideas with business developers on site. We work under confidentiality.

People from Umeå University and SLU who have an idea they want to develop, or are interested in joining a startup. No prior knowledge is required to participate.
