Using multiple media in your teaching can help your students to learn more effectively. But it can also have the opposite effect. In this workshop, we focus on the use of visual presentations in teaching, and how to make those support, not distract. You will learn to think in terms of the user experience and cognitive load and apply basic graphic design guidelines. Sometimes less is more and sometimes more is more, after the workshop you will know when to do what.
