: Trees are dominating structures in forests, parks, and gardens, and they are important habitats for many organisms, such as insects and birds. In Sweden, there are not that many tree species and a few are non-native, but how many of these tree species do you really know? Further, the leaves on many tree species shift colours during autumn. Why do they do that? During this excursion, we will walk around campus and to see which tree species we will find, and there will be a good chance to learn many of our Swedish tree species and why they shift colours differently during autumn. Welcome, and bring shoes and clothes according to the weather conditions!
If the weather forecast the day before predicts heavy rain and/or strong winds, the activity will be cancelled. Information will then be posted on Instagram.
