Target audience:

Held within the framework of KBC DAYS 2026 (Dynamic Worlds: Responses and Transformations from Molecules to Landscapes), this seminar is open to all PhD students at Umeå Campus. Speaker:

Elena Hoffer works as the Co-Founder and CEO of Alma.me, where she helps PhD students kick-start fulfilling careers outside academia and connects them with industry-relevant opportunities. Her vision is to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing information that helps PhD students learn about the opportunities available to them after completing their studies and recognise the value of their skills beyond academia.
She graduated with a PhD in Medical Sciences from Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm.
