During the darkest time of the year an exhibition with 11 students from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts opens at Galleri Syster in Luleå. Half way through the exhibition we change decade, we leave the 2010’s behind and enter the 2020’s. This exhibition poses questions about the transition time we live in; about artificial intelligence, working conditions, our relationship to nature, beauty norms, the forever recurring question of love. Through sculpture, painting, installation, sound, drawing and film the artists reflect on our time and on the relationship between the self and the world.
