CULTIVATING PLANETARY BELONGING: AN EMBODIED ENVISIONING AND DIALOGUE SESSION
In a time of intertwined ecological and societal challenges, questions of belonging extend beyond human communities to encompass our relationships with the living planet. This session of envisioning practice and a dialogue invites participants to explore planetary belonging as a lived experience of connection, interdependence, responsibility, and care.
The session begins with a guided embodied envisioning exercise, creating space for participants to connect with their personal experiences and imaginations of planetary belonging. This is followed by an open and reflective dialogue in which participants are invited to share experiences, questions, and perspectives on what it means to belong to a planet as an entity. Finally, participants will be introduced to recent research on planetary belonging.
