The seminar explores several issues related to the use of AI, including environmental impact, energy consumption, changes in individual behaviour and the handling of sensitive data. These are topics that students often raise when learning about AI or using AI in teaching and learning.
The seminar begins with a presentation on these topics, followed by a group discussion. Participants are welcome to bring their own examples to contribute to the discussion.
This workshop is part of the AI for Learning initiative at Umeå University. The initiative aims to establish a university wide platform for knowledge development, experience sharing and collegial learning. Through workshops, seminars, conferences and thematic working groups, the goal is to both deepen and broaden the University's work with AI for learning.
