Sustainability in planning: perspectives from different disciplines

Welcome to a seminar focusing on the exchange of knowledge and experiences in sustainable urban development and planning!

At Umeå University, education and research in sustainable urban development and planning are conducted by several faculties. By gaining insight into each other's work, researchers and educators can open up new opportunities for exchanges and collaborations.

During this seminar, various institutions' contributions to sustainable urban development within social sciences, technology, and architecture will be presented. Participants are invited to join discussions on collaboration opportunities, course development, shared research perspectives, and how students and other relevant actors can acquire knowledge for sustainable transformation.

The seminar will be conducted in a mix of Swedish and English.
