Welcome to a two-day open symposium on wicked problems and AI. Organized by TAIGA - Centre for Transdisciplinary AI at Umeå University.
Thursday October 17th Join us for a day exploring the intersection between AI and complex societal challenges. The program includes talks on "wicked problems", vulnerability in AI and ethical dilemmas around AI systems, and the role of AI in countering disinformation. In addition, we will participate in a thought-provoking panel discussion.
Friday, October 18 Immerse yourself in the intersection of AI and art/design at Curiosum, with discussions on the difficult problems of AI-generated art. There will be a keynote presentation, short film screenings of AI artworks, and group sessions, including an exclusive exhibition tour, audio workshop, and a hands-on exploration of wicked problems in AI.
The event is aimed at those who want to understand how AI can be used to address complex societal challenges and the ethical issues that come with the development of the technology.
