The half-day symposium is aimed at all researchers and staff interested in microbial infection research. The programme contains inspiring talks by two international keynote speakers – Carmen Buchrieser, Institute Pasteur, and Päivi Ojala, University of Helsinki – as well as novel research approaches and directions at Umeå University, in the fields of microbial and infection research.

The symposium will take place in Rotundan at the Umeå University campus, and it is jointly organized by The Laboratory of Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden, MIMS, and Umeå Microbial Research Centre, UCMR.
