Apr
Time Thursday 11 April, 2024 at 09:00 - 17:00
Place Aula Biologica, Biology building, Umeå University

The board of StratNeuro in Umeå welcome UmU researchers from all branches of neuroscience (molecule to mind) to a full-day symposium with the purpose of facilitating collaboration, encouraging use of local infrastructures, and developing neuroscience research in Umeå. The day will contain talks from two external keynote speakers, Bengt Winblad and Valentina Emiliani, presentations from local neuroscience researchers, as well as a poster session, see program below. Lunch and fika are included for those who sign up via the registration link, but anyone is welcome to listen to the talks in Aula Biologica. We have reserved three slots for short talks from the local research community. If you are interested in presenting your research or infrastructure, please use the separate registration form below and provide a preliminary title and short description. The three talks will be selected to increase representation of different neuroscience subdisciplines during the day, as well as talks on topics with potential to establish novel collaborations. We also encourage poster presentations for the afternoon poster session.
