Welcome to this lunch seminar organised by Umeå Transformation Research Initiative (UTRI), where Umeå University's work for a climate-neutral society and the global goals for sustainable development will be discussed.
Based on research, education and systematic environmental and sustainability work, Hans Wiklund, University Director, and Thomas Olofsson, Vice-Chancellor with responsibility for research, will highlight and discuss where Umeå University is today and where we want to be tomorrow. What are our strengths and weaknesses, and what opportunities do we have? The seminar will conclude with an opportunity for participants to ask questions and engage in a joint discussion.
