Umeå School of Architecture invites to a choreographed performance in which students from the first year of the Architecture Programme explores the relation between body, space, and movement.
The Unfashion Show is the outcome of a two-week workshop within’ the first year of the architecture programme. The workshop consists of sessions focusing on bodies in space, in movement and construction of body artifacts. The outcome of the experiments takes the form of a collective performance by the whole class, where they execute a choreography using body artifacts to articulate body, space, and movement. A novelty to the annual event this year is a collaboration with students from courses at The Department of Creative Studies who will produce live improved music as part of the show.
