Snow on the ground doesn’t have to mean a break from the pedals. To encourage safe winter cycling, Umeå University is highlighting the global initiative Winter Bike To Work Day.
In collaboration with Umeå Municipality, we will be giving away free winter cycling accessories to help make both you and your bike more visible during the darker months. Drop by Infocenter between 10:00 and 14:00 to pick up items such as reflective vests or bike lights, and have a chat with us about winter cycling.
You are warmly welcome – whether you’re a seasoned winter cyclist or simply curious about giving the pedals a go even when the temperature drops below zero.
