A team from Umeå Institute of Technology have competed in SICK Robot Day 2009. The competition was held in Waldkirch, Germany, on the 6th of October.
The competition consisted of obstacle avoidance and number recognition and the team consisted of students from different areas with responsibility for different parts in the project. Shahrouz Yousefi and Farid Kondori from Digital Media Lab took care of the image processing part. The Umeå team finished fourth among 12 competing teams. To SICK web page
