Finn Arne Jørgensen, a historian of technology and environment, will blog about the idea of the Anthropocen, the Age of Man, at Umeå University’s researcher blog between March 25th and April 7th.
Finn Arne Jørgensen is a historian of technology and environment and a founding member of Umeå Studies in Science, Technology, and Environment (USSTE). During the next two weeks he will blog about the idea of the Anthropocene, which is what scholars have started calling the period when Man has markedly reshaped the global environments and ecologies we live in, in ways that may or may not be permanent.
