Cooperation

In collaboration with the Center for Principal Development, school development projects are carried out regularly within the Swedish National Agency for Education’s framework called ‘Collaboration for best school (SBS)’. Within these projects of school development, the primary focus is teaching and collective learning.

ULF (Education, Learning and Research) is a national activity that wants to encourage practical research with the aim to contribute with knowledge about how teaching can be developed and improved. Research that takes place within the framework of ULF must be based on questions and problems of the school sector. An important prerequisite is that research and development is carried out symmetrically and complementarily, which means that researchers and teachers in preschools and schools work together to test and find possible solutions to practice-related issues.

Examples of ULF projects that have been implemented and are being implemented within DUB:

  • Collective learning
  • Quality development in rural schools with focus on competence provision and supervision
  • Teaching today and for the future – citizenship education within the vocational programs
