Research network The Network for Comparative Research on Professions (N-CORP) connects more than 30 researchers from different universities and disciplines (e.g. social work, medicine, sociology and political science) in seven European countries. Researchers in the network focus on professions in human service organisations.
To exchange knowledge and experiences between research groups within the network
To contribute to the theoretical and methodological state-of-the-art in the field
To disseminate knowledge about our research within as well as outside academia
To initiate and conduct collaborative research on professions use of knowledge
The network enables international interdisciplinary research activities such as joint articles, books and applications for grants from international funding agencies. In addition, the network has a base from which to initiate and coordinate student projects and graduate courses. The network arranges 1-2 physical meetings each year.
