eHealth is an exciting and rapidly evolving field, where digital technologies are used in various ways within healthcare. At UMeHealth Lab, we believe that the challenges of future eHealth are interdisciplinary. That is why we offer a lab environment where researchers and students from different fields can explore, test, be inspired, and innovate together.
Technology in the lab is seen as a resource for developing new eHealth solutions. Our goal is to offer a variety of equipment that can spark new research ideas and give students insight into future digital ways of working.
The facilities are designed as a domestic apartment, making them particularly suitable for user studies in home-like settings. They are also equipped to support co-creation and participatory design methods.
UMeHealth Lab offers both fixed and portable equipment. The space includes a conference system, two interactive screens, and two computers with cameras.
