AICE The AI-Supported Image Analysis in Large Bowel Camera Capsule Endoscopy.

Research project AICE (AI-Supported Image Analysis in Large Bowel Camera Capsule Endoscopy) is a new project within the area of digital health, financed by Horizon Europe.

AICE is an interdisciplinary project within the areas of ethics, philosophy, medicine and artificial intelligence, studying various aspects of AI-assisted image analysis in colon camera capsule endoscopy. The project includes 12 different partners within Europe. Umeå University is responsible for the Work Package on Ethics and Trustworthy AI (Work Package 6).

Project description

The AICE projektet involves 12 different partners within Europe (EU, UK, and Norway). Projekt coordinator is Region Syddanmark (Region South Denmark).

Work packet 6 concerns the ethics and trustworthiness of AI. It includes an overview and assessment of the ethical landscape and identification of ethical areas relevant to the project.
