CutFEM: Geometry, Partial Differential Equations and Optimization

Research project This project focuses on development of so called cut finite element methods (CutFEM).

These methods provide high order approximation of both complex geometries and solutions to differential equations and are particularly suitable for problems where the geometry changes in time. An important example is shape and topology optimization
