Doctoral student in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship), affiliated with Arctic Graduate School
I have a multidisciplinary background with MSc in Sustainable Destination Development and a practical experience of project management in public sector in the field of culture and tourism. My research interests include social and sustainable entrepreneurship with a focus on the role of small and medium-sized enterprises, non-profit and grassroots organizations in local and regional development.
For my PhD thesis, I am working on a research project about community entrepreneurship in the rural Arctic with a focus on sparsely populated rural areas of Northern Sweden. In my project, I conduct qualitative research in form of multiple case studies of community enterprises located in the hinterland of the regions Norrbotten and Västerbotten. The overall aim of the project is to advance the knowledge on bottom-up perspectives in providing social services in resource-constrained environments and contribute to theoretical discussions in the fields of sustainable entrepreneurship and rural development.
Besides research, I am currently teaching the courses Entreprenörskap med beslutstöd (B) and Affärsutveckling och innovation (A) (both in Swedish).
