I am a PhD student in the Explainable AI (XAI) team. I started my PhD in September of 2018. My research focus is primarily to optimise machine learning algorithms with existing or new optimisation techniques. I am also researching Reinforcement Learning (RL) and analysing the need for explainability for RL applications. My plan is to later fuse these two lines of research and thus applying general optimisation techniques from machine learning to reinforcement learning, as well as presenting a method of explaining RL algorithms (XRL).
