In parallel with teaching, I am a doctoral student and my own research aims to investigate how public health is understood within the Swedish sports movement.
I have worked at the Department of Education since the beginning of 2005. I teach mainly at the study programme for Sports Science and to some extent at the study programme for Human Resources. In addition I teach in various courses that are mainly about learning processes, sports, organization and leadership. I am personally interested in health and health promotion and related issues and processes on individual, organizational and societal level. In parallel with teaching, I am a doctoral student and my own research aims to investigate how public health is understood and how public health ambitions are organized and implemented within the Swedish sports movement. This is done through documentary studies of government sport policies and public health policies and through interviews with strategic and operational leaders at various levels within the organized sports movement.
At the Department of Education, I am part of the research area Sports Science.
