I work as a nurse and a psychological counsellour at the Student Health Service.
Students at Umeå University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) can come to me for counseling sessions. During a counseling session, we talk about issues or challenges related to health, relationships, lifestyle, or other factors that affect your studies and life. I give lectures and lead groups focused on strengthening students' mental well-being. Current lectures and group sessions can be found in the Student Health Service calendar.
Two days a week, I work at the drop-in clinic as a nurse at Info Center. There, students can receive advice regarding physical health, and we also perform tests for sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, and HIV.
On certain days, I answer phone calls during the Student Health Service’s telephone hours.
