I am PhD student in Mattias Forsell’s group. My doctoral study will focus on the dynamics of B cells after viral infection and vaccination.
I obtained my MS in Biological Sciences from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal for which I studied vaccine response in individuals with different history of SARS CoV2 infection. My interest to understand the interaction between an evolving pathogen and the host immune system led me to pursue my doctoral studies.
During my time as a PhD student, I wish to understand the humoral immune response to different infections and vaccinations at the population level and identify host factors that influence them. I would also like to study the genetic features of B cell response to these pathogens. Apart from research, I am passionate about science education.
