I hold a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Umeå University and since 2018, I have been employed as a Lecturer in Law at the university.
Prior to my academic appointment, I worked as a practicing attorney.
Teaching
My teaching is primarily focused on criminal law, including both introductory and advanced courses within the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program. I am also involved in the basic and continuing education programs for police officers.
Research
My doctoral thesis explores the legally protected interests underlying drug offences, with a particular emphasis on questions of legality, purposive interpretation, and challenges in legal application.

My teaching experience includes both the general part of criminal law and special criminal law, with particular emphasis on offences involving weapons, knives, and narcotics. I have also taught in areas such as the legal framework concerning young offenders, general and special administrative law (primarily migration law), public access to information and confidentiality, and jurisprudence.
