In my dissertation "Hundred-year floods: depictions of floods in contemporary Swedish fiction", I examine the role of the flood motif in Swedish novels published during the 2010s from an ecocritical perspective. The study especially focuses on how the relationship between humans, water and place is portrayed in the novels.
My research interests include: ecocriticism, ecofeminism, geocriticism, postcolonial ecocriticism, environmental humanitites, nordic contemporary literature etc.
