I am an authorised social worker, a licensed psychotherapist, a licensed healthcare counsellor, and a certified supervisor in psychotherapy, as well as holding a PhD in Social Work. I am employed at, and work within, the Unit for Police Work. My teaching includes the police education programme and independent courses at both bachelor’s and master’s level.
My previous research, situated within social work, primarily examined school counsellors’ individual conversational practice with children and young people. My current research focuses on health and sustainability in police work, alongside girls’ and young women’s violence and experiences of victimisation.
