I am an epidemiologist, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a MSc degree in Preventive Veterinary Medicine and PhD in Veterinary Science. I have been working in Epidemiology research since 2006.
Currently, I have a Senior Research Assistant position and I do research on weather and climate change impacts on human health. Also, I participate in a Study about risk factors for COVID-19 infection, hospitalization, and deaths; analyzing the effect of some treatments, etc. Other interests are related to modeling the spatial and spatiotemporal distribution of diseases, applications of Geographic Information Systems, and Network Analysis in Epidemiology.
