I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Epidemiology and Global Health at the Faculty of Medicine, Umeå University. My research focuses on understanding and addressing health disparities to promote population health. As a medical doctor and epidemiologist, my focus is on designing, implementing, and evaluating effective health interventions.
My expertise is grounded in health systems research, global health, infectious disease control, and public health education. I prioritize a pragmatic, policy-driven research agenda that aligns interventions with the needs of target communities. Throughout my career, I have led and contributed to research initiatives in diverse settings, applying evidence-based methods to strengthen healthcare systems, health education, and improve health outcomes.
