Broadly, my research interests lie in the intersection of physics, chemistry, and biology. Currently, I am an IceLab-Kempestiftelserna multidisciplinary postdoctoral fellow, working with Ludvig Lizana and Francesca Aguilo, on modeling RNA metabolism with applications in neuron development. Using stochastic simulation and mathematical modeling, I aim to understand how reader proteins interpret the epitranscriptome and how their failure might disrupt RNA metabolism. I will develop and simulate models calibrated with empirical data from Aguilo’s lab.

During my PhD, I studied structure-function relationship in the context of charge transfer in different nucleic acid motifs using molecular dynamics and quantum chemistry and investigated conformational dynamics in CRISPR protein complex.

Food and dance bring me pure joy. I enjoy cooking and long walk.
