I conduct research within drug formulation and drug delivery. There is a considerable need for dosage forms suitable for special patient groups to improve drug admininstration for example by facilitating swallowing and providing flexible dosing. We study for example mini-tablets as a dosage form for pediatric and geriatric patients and other patients with swallowing difficluties.
I teach courses on the pharmacy programs. Currently I am the course coordinator for Extemporaneous compounding of dugs 7.5 ECTS, Drug formulation 7 ECTS and Clincial Trials and Drug Development 7.5 ECTS. I also supervise degree projects on both bachelor and advanced level.
