Debate about use of animals in research

European Parliament resolution of 16 September 2021 on plans and actions to accelerate the transition to innovation without the use of animals in research, regulatory testing and education .

The European Parliament's demands for an action plan for phasing out all animal testing in research, education and testing of e.g. chemicals have resulted in debate in many forums (Resolution 2021/2784(RSP).
