Snickers Safeguard
Aligned with the UN sustainability goals, the European green deal aims to more than double the annual renovation rate by 2030, all with the goal of reducing carbon emissions. However, many buildings earmarked for renovation are older structures constructed with asbestos-containing materials, a known carcinogen. European asbestos exposure limits remain dangerously high, posing a threat to thousands of workers, especially those in construction, who are at risk of developing cancer. Introducing Snickers Safeguard, an asbestos detection device designed to empower workers by providing passive support through Artificial Intelligence in a non-intrusive manner. Its primary function is to capture the environment, analyze data, and alert workers to potential hazards, enabling them to take necessary precautions. Ultimately providing a pathway to a smarter and safer worklife.
