UE SPACE - A New Music Experience

The project was about exploring how music is consumed and look for novel ways to bring new experiences to how we listen to and enjoy music. I was investigating different people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds to understand the journeys they have gone through over time with music: the different genres, mediums, spaces, places and means by which they have experienced music and looked to find new opportunities for one of these groups where Logitech might play a role in the future.
The research clearly indicated, that the community aspect of music listening has left the biggest impressions. Music is very good when listened to just by yourself, but it gets to another level when enjoyed with like-minded people. This lead me to my main question:
How might we improve sharing the experience of listening to music?
Concerts are great bonding experiences and help us create deeper connections with friends, the artist and everyone around us.
The result is a new remote concert experience, which is focused on connecting people through audio. It captures the core experience of concerts and brings them into your home. It consists of a combination of the UE CROWD experience and the UE SPACE headphones. The overarching service provides the core functions, while the open back headphones turn this into an immersive remote concert experience.
