Assisted Reproduction relates to reproduction happening through various medical procedures. In Vitro Fertilization is one type of treatment that can be an option for couples with infertilitity, individuals or same-sex couples. In the beginning of the treatment, during ovarian stimulation, the person with ovaries need to self-inject different types of medications for several days to stimulate the ovaries to grow several eggs. Patients often feel overwhelmed with the amount of medications and information, a strict medication time schedule, cooling storage, and fear of having to self-inject.

Trine is a brand providing fertility medication kits. It aims to make this physical and emotional challenging experience more positive and welcoming by increasing support, confidence and ease-of-use. The Trine experience has three elements: a kit with the needed supplies for the treatment, the trine injector pens and a digital application.

Trine is one source for all the medications and information, provides a clear schedule, and it’s based on learning with peers and creating a community. When users receive the kit they get a welcome message with tips on how to go through the treatment. The packaging is discrete on the outside and when it is open gives a clear overview of what’s needed to take the medications.

Users can check the medication schedule and they also receive reminders to make sure they take their medications at the right time. They can learn the instructions through a video library with people that have actually been through the treatment, as well as connect to peers that are in a similar situation in the Trine community. The reusable pen injectors are color coded according to the medication reducing the number of new instructions to learn.
