Cobox is a small and versatile assistant robot that comes in a portable box form-factor. The goal of Cobox is to make robots accessible to a wide user base. Currently, implementing robots for “high-mix, low volume applications” presents a challenge. The need to program a robot acts as a barrier for new users. Cobox aims to be taught through natural language and gesture recognition. The robot responds and interacts with light projections on the surface it is attached to. It comes with a set of universally swappable end effectors, making it as simple as possible to get started with robotics.
