What different roles can and do you want to take on as an academic teacher in a course? When is it helpful to step into which role – and how do you sense what is needed in the moment? Being an expert in your subject is important, but just as important is being flexible and able to support students’ learning in different ways throughout the course. This is what makes you a Flexpert teacher.
In the workshop, we will explore together how our perspectives and ideas about good teaching influence the roles we tend to take on, and how this, in turn, affects communication with students and collaboration with other teachers.
