You prepare a 15-minute presentation and end with, or integrate, an interactive component. Based on your talk, pose discussion questions to the audience or provide statements for them to discuss. You are welcome to use Mentimeter if you want to gather input from the discussion. A session host will be present to welcome everyone and keep track of time. They will notify you when 5 and 2 minutes remain.
Time: 25 minutes total, with a maximum of 15 minutes for the presentation.
Roundtable Discussion
You should prepare a maximum of 5-minute introduction to the theme. You can pose discussion questions to the audience or provide statements for them to discuss. You may use Mentimeter to collect the discussion results if desirable. A session host will be present to welcome everyone and keep track of time. They will notify you when 5 and 2 minutes remain.
Time: 25 minutes.
Workshop
A workshop is interactive. You should prepare a maximum 10-minute introduction to the theme, including instructions for the participants what they will do. Whiteboards or magic charts and markers will be available in the room. Bring any specific materials that participants will be working with. A session host will be present to welcome everyone and keep track of time. They will notify you when there are 5 minutes remaining if you haven’t yet started wrapping up the workshop.
Time: 55 minutes.
Poster Presentation
You will briefly explain your poster during a dedicated poster session, along with the other poster presenters. Afterward, the audience can walk around and discuss the posters further. A session host will be present to welcome everyone and keep track of time.
Time: 5 minutes per poster, full session is 55 minutes.
