Project Name Prediction of cancer risk using alternative splicing patterns.
Description of Tasks The position entails providing assistance with bioinformatics analysis under the supervision of a senior bioinformatician in the context of this project. The tasks include mining publicly available next generation sequencing data from cancer samples, performing alternative splicing analysis, as well as transforming next-generation sequencing data files using one-hot encoding.
Required Competencies The candidate must have a BS or MS within the fields of biotechnology, molecular biology or computational sciences. Certain knowledge of R, Python and Shell is required.
Other Desired Qualifications Handling of multi-omics data and use of Random Forest algorithm are considered a merit.

The appointment is a full-time, fixed-term position lasting 11 months. Start August 2026 or according to agreement.
