Pay Survey for 2024 Completed

Each year, Umeå University conducts a pay survey – an analysis of the salaries and employment conditions of women and men. The 2024 pay survey has now been completed.

The aim of the annual pay survey is to identify, address, and prevent any unjustified differences in pay and employment terms based on gender. By carrying out this analysis, the university ensures that its salary structures and employment practices support fairness and equality.

The 2024 analysis shows that local agreements, regulations, and practices regarding pay and other employment conditions are gender-neutral in their design. It also found that no salary adjustments are required for any group due to unjustified gender-based discrepancies.

This work is part of the university’s active measures as an employer. Active measures involve proactive and inclusive efforts to counteract discrimination and promote equal rights and opportunities, regardless of the grounds for discrimination.
