Chem Store provides chemicals and solvents, glassware and laboratory supplies, liquid nitrogen, dry ice, gas etc., to all departments at Umeå University.
Many of the most commonly used chemicals and supplies are in stock. For other chemicals and articles we offer ordering service via our online service: ChemShop. To view our product list and place orders go to chemstore.chem.umu.se
Chem Store's policy is that its activities should be self-sustaining for premises and staff, such that no "profit" is to be made by anyone. Purchases are made firsthand with those we have prior agreement with.
All handling of chemicals through Chem Store is supported by the University's chemical registration program KLARA. Your purchases via the Chem Store will be automatically registered in KLARA, which facilitates your efforts to keep your chemical stock registered and updated.

Do you need a lab coat for your studies? We sell them for SEK 400. Fitting and sales take place at KBC and the Chemistry Stores on Fridays from 13:00 to 15:00 throughout September. Fittings are carried out in the entrance of the KBC building, Linnaeus väg 6, and the fitted size can then be purchased from Kemiförrådet/Chem Store.
