About the course

The course is based on contemporary art with a clear focus on the relationship between the artist and the various art worlds. In the course, the student will meet different artistic contexts and through these explore the relationship between his or her own artistic practice, contemporary theories, historical aspects and its connection to the different actors of contemporary art.

  Eligibility Participation in the course assumes that the student is admitted to the Master's programme in Fine Arts at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, Umeå University, and has obtained the grade Pass in at least 25,5 credits of the courses offered in the first term of the programme.
