About the course

The aim of the course is that the students will acquire basic knowledge in developmental psychology. The focus of the course will mainly be on development from infancy to older adults from different perspectives, including biological, cognitive and socio-emotional aspects. Genetic, environmental, gender and cross- cultural contributions to development will also be examined. The course further covers different research perspectives and study methods within the field of developmental psychology.
